Biography

Liesel Anthony is a pioneering leader in the world of talent development. Over the last 15 years, she has honed her ability to architect and implement programs across the employee lifecycle. Her versatile background spans strategic, operational, and execution roles, with experience in hospitality, finance, education, fintech, and high-stakes startups. 

 

Having immersed herself in building functions, teams, and programs from the ground up, she has established herself as an innovative leader who can perceive the “big picture”, envision how the pieces fit together, and translate ideas into action. She incorporates best-in-class approaches learned from benchmarking projects with the U.S. Navy, Disney, Union Square Hospitality Group, and Visa. 

 

After rising through the ranks at Goldman Sachs, where she was ultimately responsible for global learning and development within Goldman Sachs University, she was asked to found and launch the Education Institute – a dynamic vehicle for reimagining American public education through the scaling of training for thousands of educators – at Success Academy Charter Schools, a top-performing not-for-profit public school system in New York City.  After the pandemic, she and her husband decided to pursue a new vision for their lives and moved to New Mexico, where they are based today. 

 

Liesel draws on her early background in hospitality management to lead with a service mindset while fostering a culture of excellence with clients and communities. Her professional background is complemented by a degree in hotel management from Cape Town Peninsula University of Technology in South Africa.
